Sogetsu ikebana artist and teacher

I started taking Ikebana lessons in September 1995. In October 2003 I was recognized as teacher 4e grade Yonkyu Shihan by and I have now obtained my 1^st grade teacher diploma”Jonin Somu”. I am registered as Sogetsu Ikebana teacher at the Sogetsu Teachers Association in Japan.

During my training I took lessons at Henriëtte Schalk, Els Goos, Marja Vervoort-Biemond and Jeannine Vanhee.

I have regularly followed lessons, workshops and seminars with Japanese Master Instructors Mr.Tetsunori Kawana, Mrs.Eikou Sumura.

I also had the opportunity to take classes and work on projects of Iemoto Akane Teshigahara.

Since February 2010 I have taken on the task of Branch director for Sogetsu Branch Nederland. www.sogestubranchnederland.nl

In 2004, I started my ikebana studio YOTEI and teach according to the curriculum indicated by HQ. Both ikebana beginners and Sogetsu ikebana trainee teachers are among my students.
